So this day last week I had finally finished all my finals at college, packed up my things and had walked in through the door to my lovely home. I had some burger king in a bag just waiting to be devoured. I sat down, enjoyed my meal with my dad and while waiting for the food to gestate I get a phone call.
It's my Track and Field coach. Must be a miscall, its 10:30pm! Plus my season ended last week!
Turns out I managed to sneak my way in to ECACs (Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference), the regional conference championship for North Eastern schools in the US. One way to think about it is the step just below the National Championships (in this case for division 3 athletics).
So I packed up what I could and went, and despite having 0 training the past 5 days I managed to work to a personal best in the 100m and pole vault. As well as a Decathlon PR of 150 points from my previous Dec.

Honestly it was something pretty unbelievable to me until it started
